Stanlaws, Penrhyn was born on March 19, 1877 in Dundee, Scotland. Son of James and Jessie (Leith) Adamson.

Education

Came to the United States, 1891. Studied art, Paris and London.

Career

Exhibited at Paris Salon, 1904. Established studio in New York, 1908. Built Hôtel des Artistes (largest studio building in American), 1916, and another in 1917.

President Hôtel des Artistes, Incorporated.
