I build business alliances to facilitate market access and support impact investment.
I started my diplomatic career as Principal Commercial Officer at the U.S. Consulate General in Baja California, Mexico. Since then, I served at the U.S. Embassies in Buenos Aires, Santiago, Bogota, Mexico City, Caracas and Johannesburg. At the request of the Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires, I served for two temporary duty assignments as Commercial Attaché in Argentina. In 1997, assisted with the planning of the first trip of former President Clinton to the Southern Cone and in 2000 I supported U.S. policy initiatives in preparation for the opening of Argentine’s telecommunication market. The Minister subsequently nominated me for a star award in recognition of my efforts in advancing U.S. policy interests.
Obtained a Bachelor of Science in International Relations, Law and Organizations (ΦΒΚ '88) and a Master of Arts with honors from the School of Foreign Service, at Georgetown University/GU ('91). I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Public Relations and Corporate Communications at GU (expected 2019).
