Kiang Eugene Ye-bing obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Fudan University in 1922. He recieved Bachelor of Laws degree from the Soochow University Law School in 1923 and in 1935 Doctor of Laws (Honorary) from the Fudan University.
Mr. Kiang was a member of the Executive Committee, Shanghai Chinese Ratepayers Association, from 1929 to 1930. In 1934 he became a member of the Shanghai Municipal Council. From 1929 to 1930 Kiang Eugene Ye-bing was a member of the Executive Committee, Shanghai Chinese Ratepayers Association. Since 1933 he was a member of the Shanghai Municipal Council Watch Committee, Health Committee and Ricksha Investigation Committee.
Kiang Eugene Ye-bing was a member of Standing Committee, Shanghai Bar Association, between 1931 and 1932. Since 1931 he became a member of the Board of Trustees, Fudan University. He served as a director of Dah-Hoo Commercial and Savings Bank from 1933 till 1934. In 1922 Mr. Kiang was appointed representative of the National Legal Conference. Around 1921 to 1922 he acted as a President of the National Students' Union.
Mr. Kiang worked as an editor-in-chief of the China Law Review in 1922-1923.
On January 1, 1931, he married in Shanghai Miss Yu Dah-han.
