Stefan Wojnecki

Stefan Wojnecki is a Polish photographer.

Career

  • In 1952 he joined the Photographic Society of Poznan and served as its chairman in 1967-1976.

    Since 1978 he worked as a lecturer at the Poznan Academy of Fine Arts. In 1987-1993 he was Dean of the Faculty of Painting , Sculpture and Graphic Arts and default manager for the Professional School of Photography (now Extramural School of Photography in Poznan Academy of Fine Arts, Department of Photography ).

    Since 1971, he is a member of the Union of Polish Art Photographers.

    His works were presented at many exhibitions, including: "Step into modernity" (Poznan 1957) , "Faces" (Poznan 1969), "Searching Photographers" (Warsaw 1971), "Duogramy - a series of information" (Poznan 1972 - showed here his own duogramy, based in part on the photograph), "Alternative Art" (1974 ), "Hiperfotografia" (Poznan 1978), "Cracks - to simulate" (Poznan 1999), "Alchemy slit pinhole" (2003).

    He is the author of the text "Cutting the umbilical cord " (1998), dedicated to digital photography. He organizes different exhibitions and symposia .

    He was awarded a Gold Medal Gloria Artis.
