Career
Harris began skating in 2000. He never competed on the International Skating Union Junior Grand Prix series. He made his senior international debut at the 2009 North Rhine-Westphalia Trophy, placing 19th.
In the 2010-2011 season, he stepped onto the British national podium for the first time, taking the bronze medal.
He repeated as the bronze medalist in the 2011-2012 season, finished fourth in 2012-2013, and withdrew in the 2013-2014 Olympic season. In the 2014-2015 season, Harris competed in three International Skating Union Challenger Series (CS) events, placing 8th at the Lombardia Trophy, fifth at the Ice Challenge, and ninth at the Golden Spin of Zagreb.
Harris was assigned to his first International Skating Union Championship, the European Championships held in January 2015 in Stockholm, Sweden. Ranked 12th in the short program, he earned qualification to the final segment and finished 15th overall.
Haris began the 2015-2016 season at a pair of CS events, placing 10th at the 2015 Nebelhorn Trophy and 6th at the 2015 Ice Challenge, before finishing 4th at the North Rhine-Westphalia Trophy.
The following month, he reached the free skate at the 2016 European Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia.
