He has also played for Twente (youth club), Heracles Almelo, Veendam and Emmen. He played for VV Glanerbrug for the 2013/14 season until the club"s demise. He has been capped for Afghanistan three times. He is the only Afghan player to have played in the top tier of a Union of European Football Associations league, making seven appearances for Heracles Almelo between 2008 and 2010. He also played in the second tier, Eerste Divisie, for Veendam and Emmen.
