Career
Standing at 2.03 m (6 ft 8 in), he plays at the shooting guard and small forward positions. Zipser began his professional career in his hometown with University of Southern California Heidelberg back in 2010. In 2011-2012 he averaged 7.9 points 3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.
After only 2 games in 2012-2013 season due to an injury, on January 18 2013, he signed a four-year deal with Football Club Bayern Munich.
On April 21 2015, he entered the 2015 National Basketball Association draft as an early-entrant, only to withdraw from it later. He played in the 2010 International Basketball Federation Europe Under-16 Championship, 2011 and 2012 International Basketball Federation Europe Under-18 Championship.
In 2012 he also played in Albert Schweitzer Tournament and was named to the All-Tournament Team, averaging 14.6 points, 5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. On 30 July 2015, he made his debut for the senior Germany national basketball team in a game against Austria.
On International Basketball Federation EuroBasket 2015 he averaged 5.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
