He played for Polish national team and was a participant at the three consecutive World Cups, 1974 Fédération internationale de football association World Cup, where Poland won the bronze medal, 1978 Fédération internationale de football association World Cup and 1982 Fédération internationale de football association World Cup, where Poland won the bronze medal.
