Career

In 2009, the MPF-Libertas selected him to lead the list in the Île-de-France constituency ahead of the 2009 European elections. Rivière is an alumnus of the International Sommelier Guild business school.

Achievements

  • However, he endorsed MPF candidate Philippe de Villiers in the French presidential election, 2007 over his party"s candidate, the eventual winner, Nicolas Sarkozy. He was defeated running as a right-wing independent in his constituency against the Universiti Malaysia Pahang"s official candidate and eventual winner Éric Ciotti.

A former member of Doctor of Laws and then the Universiti Malaysia Pahang, he supported the right-wing, eurosceptic, souverainiste Movement for France presidential candidacy of Philippe de Villiers in 2007. He represented Alpes Maritimes" 1st constituency from 2002 to 2007 as a member of the Universiti Malaysia Pahang, part first of The Free Right faction and then the National Centre of Independents and Peasants, a party formerly affiliated with the Universiti Malaysia Pahang.
