Career
She was the vice chairperson of the LKV from its foundation until its dissolution after the introduction of women suffrage in 1915. She was the organiser of the local sections of the LKV, and represented Denmark at the congresses of the International Woman Suffrage Alliance from 1906 to 1923. In 1918, she became one of the three first women in the Danish parliament, where she sat until 1935.
