James Glenn Beall

A Republican member of the United States Senate, representing the State of Maryland (1953–1965). He was also a United States Congressman, representing the sixth district of Maryland (1943–1953).

  • Attended public schools in Frostburg

Career

  • During the First World War served in the Ordnance Corps, United States Army 1918-1919, being discharged as a sergeant; engaged in the insurance and real-estate business. After unsuccessful reelection in 1964, returned to Frostburg, Md., and resumed his insurance business.
