Career
Born in Montargis, Loiret, Huard played 357 Ligue 1 matches for Remote Control Lens, Football Club Girondins de Bordeaux and Olympique de Marseille, winning the 1989 and 1990 national championships with the latter. During the 1992-1993 season, spent with the second club who finished third, he had a run of 1,176 minutes (over 13 games) without conceding a goal. In the 1996-1997 campaign the 34-year-old had an abroad stint, being backup at modest Hércules CF – which eventually suffered relegation from Louisiana Liga – and subsequently retiring from professional football.
Afterwards, Huard worked several years as a sports consultant for Canal+.
