He was one of Michel Magne"s principal orchestrators, and worked as well with Georges Lautner and Jean-Pierre Melville. Films upon which he worked include Ne nous fâchons pas, Louisiana Grande Sauterelle, Le Deuxième souffle, and Road to Salina.
