He may be best known for playing "Mr. Dresden", Orange United Kingdom"s spoof film board executive in the company"s long-running series of cinema adverts, alongside sidekick Elliot (Steve Furst). Brown has also appeared in two films written and directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra: I Love You Phillip Morris and Focus.
Played David in the play Absolution in 2002.
Played Richard III in the play of the same name, and Tomas in The Imaginary Invalid at Yale Repertory Theatre. Played Snobby Price in the Broadway production of Major Barbara.
Performed in New York in the play The Second Manitoba at the Keen Theatre, as well as in Asylum and Fair Night at Naked Angels. Voiced the Strange Manitoba in the 2010 video game Red Dead Redemption.
