Alassane has spent his whole professional career at Le Havre but did not break into the world of professional football until the age of 23. Before turning professional, he played as an amateur for Department of Administration and Management Neiges in the lower leagues of French football. Alassane began a 1 week trial with Glasgow Celtic F.C. on Friday 17 July 2009, with the view to signing on a permanent deal.
Six years after retiring with a heart defect, Alassane went on tiral with English National League side Kidderminster Harriers, appearing in their 2-0 victory over Romulus.
