Bain finished fifth in 4 x 400 metres relay at the 2004 World Indoor Championships, together with teammates Chris Brown, Timothy Munnings and Dennis Darling.
He set an indoor personal best of 46.02 in the preliminary round. Was part of the Bahamas" silver-medal winning team in the men"s 4 × 400 m relay at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Bain graduated from Oral Roberts University.
He was the National Collegiate Athletic Association Indoor Champion at 400m in 2008 for Oral Roberts University, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bain also won the 2008 National Collegiate Athletic Association Outdoor 400m Championship in 44.62 over University of Southern California"s Lionel Larry, for Oral Roberts University.
