She attended Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, and graduated in 1999.
She is best known for her roles as Francine Krumitz on Columbia Broadcasting System" procedural drama Computer Society of India: Cyber, Tina in the horror comedy film The Final Girls (2015), and Penny Whitewall on FXX"s animated series Major Lazer. She has also had roles in the films Halloween II (2009) and The Kings of Summer (2013). Prior to attending high school, Trimbur was homeschooled.
She created the Los Angeles City Municipal Dance Squad, a team of dancers to perform halftime show for the Los Angeles Women"s Community Basketball pickup league.
Before acting, Trimbur was a contestant on the thirteenth season of Music Television"s Road Rules: X-Treme. lieutenant was revealed in the "Stunt School" challenge that Trimbur wanted to be an actress.
She also participated in the Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Battle of the Sexes 2. Trimbur began her acting career training in scene study under Robert Carnegie at Playhouse West, founded by Sanford Meisner, and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles, founded by Amy Poehler, Matt Walsh, Ian Roberts, and Matt Besser.
She has guest starred in episodes of Entourage, Workaholics, Californication, Anger Management, Hand of God, and Computer Society of India: Cyber.
Trimbur starred as Harley David in the slasher horror Halloween World War II The following year, she portrayed the supporting role of Sassy in the 2010 comedy film Freak Dance (2010). She then co-starred in the drama film The Future (2011) directed by Miranda July, and the comedy-drama The Kings of Summer (2013) directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts. In 2015, Trimbur gained praise for her supporting role as Tina in Todd Strauss-Schulson"s horror comedy The Final Girls.
On April 28, 2015, Comedy Central bought an untitled comedy series created by Trimbur, Amanda Lund, and Maria Blasucci, which focuses on a misfit, all-female basketball team in Los Los Angeles
Trimbur is a member of the Los Angeles-based basketball team Pistol Shrimps, alongside actress Aubrey Plaza.
