Three years later he earned his Master of Divinity degree, and a Master of Theology degree and a Doctor of Divinity degree in 1971 from Asbury Theological Seminary. Also in 1971, Samuel was given a Doctor of Sacred Theology degree from Emory University.
Kamaleson began his career as a pastor at Methodist Church in 1961 and held it for seven years and again from 1971 to 1974. In 1963, he took a position of an evangelist at Methodist Church in Southern Asia.
In 1974, Samuel became a vice president at large for World Vision International, where he worked until 1996. Also in 1980, he served as a vice president of pastor's conference at the same organization. Then in 1985, Samuel became a vice president of evangelism and leadership at World Vision International, where he served until 1990.
Kamaleson is a lecturer of evangelistic campaigns, biblical conferences, youth meetings and seminars. Also he held meetings for pastors and Christian leaders in different countries on all continents, including Russia and Western Europe.
Kamaleson said that evangelism and mentoring have much in common. Both require enthusiastic witness and kindness, keys to opening hearts and encouraging minds.
