Daniel Lluch-Belda is a biologist with a DS degree at the Instituto
Politecnico Nacional, Mexico. He has worked at the Instituto Nacional
de la Pesca (1963-1977), the Centro Interdisciplinario de Ciencias
Marinas del IPN (1978-1984 and 1997-to date) and the Centro de
Investigaciones Biológicas del Noroeste, SC (1984-1996). His main
subjects of research have been marine mammals, shrimp fisheries,
small pelagic fishes and the effect of climate change on marine
resources.
Member of Mexican Academy of Sciences.
