Carl Day, American newscaster. Named one of Outstanding Broadcasters, Radio television Show magazine, 1972; inducted into National Broadcasters Hall of Fame, 1989; recipient Excellence in Journalism award Cleveland Press Club, 1996, Lifetime Achievement award Ohio Associated Press Broadcasters, 1998, Documentary Narration Emmy award, 1998; inductee Ohio Radio and television Hall of Fame, 2000.
