Toru Takeuchi

Toru Takeuchi, Japanese obstetrics and gynecology educator, researcher. Achievements include patents on the mechanism for effect of paeoniflorin and glycyrrhhizin on ovarian function; research of reproductive endocrinology, especially the effect of growth hormone on ovarian and adrenal function. Research fellow Tsukiji Perinatal Hospital, Tokyo, 1983-1984; scientific research grantee Ministry of Education, Tokyo, since 1971.
