Lee Lozowick was an American author, poet, lyricist, playwright and singer. He was also a spiritual teacher: Lee was known as a founder of Hohm spiritual community and as the author of books on Eastern spirituality.

Lee Lozowick was born on November 18, 1943 in New York city, New York, United States. He was a son of Louis Lozowick, an artist, and Adele Turner, a homemaker. The couple married in 1933 and lived in South Orange, New Jersey, United States.
Education
In 1965, Lee Lozowick graduated from the Monmouth College, Monmouth, Illinois, United States, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Later, Lozowick was a student of Indian spiritual teacher Sri Yogi Ramsuratkumar whose presence excercised the fundamental influence on Lozowick's activity.
Career
From 1965 till 1970, Lee Lozowick worked as a self-employed coin and stamp dealer in Millburn, New Jersey, United States. As a spiritual teacher, he gave motivational seminars on the Silva Method in a Mount Tabor community, New Jersey, United States from 1970 till 1975.
Lozowick’s first book, In the Fire, was published in 1978.
Two years later, Lee Lozowick established his spiritual community, Hohm, in New Jersey, United States. The community was then relocated in Arizona and divided into two parts "Hohm Sahaj Mandir" (Hohm Innate Divinity Temple) and the "Hohm Community." There, Lozowick wrote many books on different topics, including natural health, Eastern religion, poetry, and parenting, which were published in the community’s publishing company, called Hohm Press. The community combined the elements of Baul tradition of Bengal, guru yoga, Chogyam Trungpa and partly the philosophy of George Ivanovich Gurdjieff.
From 1989, Lee singed and wrote lyricis for the albums of liars, gods, and beggars, in Prescott, Arizona, United States. In particular, he wrote the song lyrics for such albums as Accused, Chthonic Boom Eccentricities, Idiosyncrasies, and Indiscretions, Just Smoke, Lilith, Manana Inanna, Out of Our Hands, and Vija De. Lozowick also wrote song lyrics for the blues band Sitri, on albums which include Good Thing, Hooked, and M12 Blues Shooz.
