Gary Curtis Hall, American experimental test pilot, aerospace engineer and executive. Pioneer development armed fighter helicopter. Decorated Distinguished Flying Cross, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star (2), others; named Southeast Kern County Citizen of Year, 1980-1981.

    • Enlisted in the United States Army, 1951. Commissioned Second lieutenant infantry, 1956. Advanced through grades to lieutenant colonel.

      Airplane and helicopter test pilot, 1958. Graduate United States Navy Test Pilot School, 1965. Two tours of duty in Vietnam.

      Deputy Commander United States Army Engineering Flight Test Activity, 1972-1974, retired, 1975. Director Mojave Flight Test Facility, Flight Systems, Inc., 1975-1976. Flight test project engineer A-10 fighter Fairchild Republic Company, Edwards Air Force Base, California, 1977-1979.
