Background
He was born on March 24th, 1904, Slutsk, Minsk province, now the city of Minsk region. Real name - Chernushevich.
The parents of Hvedarovich were land-poor peasants. In his childhood Hvedarovich was a village shepherd. From 1915 to 1918 he lived in an orphanage for refugee children in Kaluga, studied at school there. After returning from refugee he studied at School in Timkovichi, then in Kopyl Labor School, of the second degree. Hvedarovich was interested in revolutionary events which had happened in his country. In 1918 he joined the Young Communist League.
Education
In 1928 he graduated from technical school in Minsk in 1931 - BSU.
Career
Parallel to his studies worked for the executive secretary of the journal "Proceedings of the Communist Party" (Bolsheviks), then the "party workers" and "Bolshevik of Belarus." In 1932-1933 he was the editor of a biweekly "Red Belarus". He was the Member of the joint venture in Belarus since 1934. In 1933-1934 he was the Head of the Cabinet young author JV BSSR. He was the member of the literary association "Cubs" and BelAPP. Arrested in 1938, he was sentenced to eight years of prison. From 1946 he worked in Karshynah Uzbek SSR. Re-arrested in 1949 and exiled to Krasnoyarsk Yenisei. In 1956 he returned to Belarus. He was engaged in literary work. Rehabilitated in 1955.
He began to appear in press in 1924. He published the book of poetry "Moods" (1929), "Rhythms" (1930), "Battle Song" (1930), "The rate-contrast" (1931), "War for Peace" (1932) "Ha" (jokes, parodies, 1932), "With all my heart" (1937), "The Golden Leaf Fall" (1957), "Chime hog" (1961), "After the Storm" (Favorite, 1965), "Stars in stone "(1968)," Spring "(1978)," Lyubistak "(Favorite, 1984). They were Selected in 2 volumes (1974). The books for children: "Sunny Bunny"

He published the book of memoirs "Memorable Meetings" (1960, 3rd edition revised in 1977), "Unforgettable" (1976) and the novel "Confessions of the future" (1978).
He translated the poems by Pushkin, "The Caucasian slave" (1937), "The Fountain of Bakhchisarai" (1938), "The Tale of Tsar Saltan" (magazine "The flames of revolution," 1937), a novel by Alexander Fadeyev, "The Last of the Udege" (with A. Tambourine, 1935). Bagritsky poem "The Duma of Athanasius" (magazine "Young growth", 1930) and Rustaveli "The Knight in the Panther's Skin" (with A. Tambourine, 1966), a novel V. Kochetov "Yershov Brothers" ( with I. Gramovich, 1960), a book of poetry S. Petsefi "Lear and Sword" (1971). The laureate of the Hungarian Agency for literature and art "Artysiuz" (1981) for the promotion of Hungarian poetry in the Belarusian language.
