Flores currently resides in New Zealand.
In 1988, Flores joined Calgary, Alberta's world-renowned Loose Moose Theatre under Keith Johnstone and Dennis Cahill. At Loose Moose training theatre he learned the improv principles of ‘saying yes', and ‘advancing narrative’.Throughout his career Flores has always maintained a good working relationship with the company. By 1991 he had become an accomplished street performer.
Along with Canadians Eric Amber and North Darling The 3 Canadians was established in 1994, together they created and performed four full length stage shows: Swallow This, Space Monkeys, The Flat, and Ben Hur. Flores and Amber also perform and produce together under the name Hot Nuts and Popcorn, as a vaudevillian duo they became recognised for their Hot Nuts and Popcorn Variety Hour which had several seasons at the Loose Moose Theatre in Calgary before touring festivals internationally.
In 2001 Flores joined the Second City Touring Company and in 2003 joined the Second City Toronto main stage cast. By 2006 Flores had formed with the group The Canadian Shield with Jacob Banigan and Stephen Sim, together they won first place at the World Improv Tournament in Germany during the FIFA world cup.
Flores was the co-creative director of the Wellington Improvisation Troupe in New Zealand in 2007 and 2008. He has continued to collaborate in New Zealand, devising and performing the late night comedy talk show Chit Chat lounge with Dr. Vinyl Burns at the 2008-10 New Zealand Fringe Festivals.
