During college he was the UW–Madison football team captain.
Nosbusch's career began in 1974 when he joined Allen-Bradley as an application engineer, and since then he has had numerous positions of increasing responsibility. He served as the president of Rockwell Automation Control Systems and an officer of the corporation, positions he held since November 1998. Nosbusch previously served as senior vice president, Control and Information Group. In that position he was responsible for the launching of LogixTM, Rockwell Automation’s premier integrated control and information platform.
In February 2004 Keith Nosbusch was appointed chief executive officer of Rockwell Automation, Inc. Prior to this appointment, Nosbusch was a director of The Manitowoc Company and served as a director or member of a number of business, civic and community organizations.
