Career
Mr Zelnick served as the President and Chief Operating Officer at Twentieth Century Fox from 1989 to 1993, where he managed all aspects of Fox's worldwide motion picture and distribution business. Previously, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at BMG Entertainment (BMG), where he managed one of the world’s largest music and entertainment companies with more than 200 record labels and operations in 54 countries, as well as one of the leading music publishing companies and the world’s largest music club. At BMG Entertainment, Inc., he guided it to record revenues and profits and became a leading voice for the music industry. As an early and outspoken champion of the need to embrace the new media revolution, Mr. Zelnick pushed BMG to the entertainment industry’s cutting edge in terms of its own online activities and adoption of new technologies. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at BMG’s North American business unit from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Crystal Dynamics, Inc. Previously, Mr. Zelnick spent three years at Vestron Inc. as a Senior Executive and rose to become the President and Chief Operating Officer. ne, Inc., since March 1994.
In 2010 Mr Zelnick got a position of CEO in Take-Two Interactive company and strengthened the company's positions. In addition, Mr Zelnick founded his own lable ZelnickMedia. The firm owns and manages a variety of media businesses and focuses its investments on television advertising, online gaming, direct marketing and e-commerce, recorded music, and media-related technology, among other sectors.
