      Awarded. Navy Cross by United States Government, for distinguished service in France, 1918, Distinguished Service Medal by Pres, of Haiti, 1928, for distinguished service as Brigadier General and Assistant Commandant of Garde d'Haiti (sole military and police force of Haiti).
