Made examination of Virginia State Debt for West Virginia, succeeded in making findings, which re-opened case in Supreme Court of the United States Court, reduced West Virginia portion approximately nine million dollars, in principal and interest.

      Auditor, Cities of W. Virginia under State Tax Commissioner, 12 years. Elected member, Council of City of Elkins, W. Virginia serving as Chairman of Finance Committee and on other communications. With Alien Property Custodian, since 1926.

      Held two commissions in W. Virginia National Guard, Second Regiment prior to Spanish-American War.
