      Deputy, USSR Supreme Soviet of 1950, 1954, and 1958 convocation. Deputy, Azerbaydzhan Supreme Soviet of 1947 and 1955 convocation. Member, USSR Supreme Soviet delegation to Iran.

      Did research on mulberry selection. Developed “zarif-tut”, “sygez-tut”, “azeritut”, and other new types of mulberry trees. 1934-1942 Head, Mulberry Growing Section, then Director, Azerbaydzhan Sericulture Station.

      1942-1948 worked for Central Committee, Communist Party Azerbaydzhan. Since 1948 Deputy Chairman, Azerbaydzhan Council of Ministers. 1950-1954 Azerbaydzhan Minister of Agriculture, and since 1953 Azerbaydzhan Minister of Agriculture and State Purchasing.

      Since 1954 First Deputy Chairman, Azerbaydzhan Council of Ministers. 1958-1959 Chairman, Presidium, Azerbaydzhan Supreme Soviet, and Deputy Chairman, USSR Supreme Soviet.
