1946 attended talks between Stalin and Prime Minister of Finland. 1956 handed ultimatum to Israel on immediate cessation of military action. 1959 attended talks with Iraqi government delegate on cooperation and aid to Iraq.
Since 1944 on diplomatic work. 1945-1946 Head, Fifth European Department (Finland), USSR Minister of Foreign Affairs. 1946-1948 USSR Envoy to Finland.
