    • Member and Bureau member of the Central Committee, All-Union Communist Youth League. Has made frequent journeys abroad: 1955 to United States of America. 1958 to Latin America (Argentina, Chile, etc.).

      1959 to Bagdhad and Cairo Conference of AfroAsian Youth. Accompained Khrushchev to United States of America. Of late a constant companion of Khrushchev’s on his foreign trips.

      May 1960 member, USSR delegation at Paris Conference of Heads of Government. June 1960 one of Khrushchev’s advisers during visit to Austria. Deputy, USSR Supreme Soviet of 1959 cenvoc.

      Member, Committee Lenin Prizes, USSR Council of Ministers. Till end of World War II in Soviet Army. As student worked in edition offices, “Komsomolskaya Pravda”.

      Upon graduating from University became member, Editorial Board, and Editor, Literature and Arts Section, then 1958-1959 Chief Editor, “Komsomolskaya Pravda”.
