Agrobotanist; full member, Azerbaydzhan Academy of Sciences, since 1952; Chairman, Commission for the Preservation of Nature, Azerbaydzhan Academy of Sciences, since 1960; head of a laboratory, Institute of Pedology and Agrochemistry, Azerbaydzhan Academy of Sciences, since 1957. Member, Communist Party, since 1931.

    • Since 1938 Candidate of Biological Science. 1932-1944 at Botany Institute, Azerbaydzhan Branch, USSR Academy of Science, now Azerbaydzhan Academy of Sciences. 1944-1949 senior associate, Learned Secretary, then Deputy Director, Institute of Pedology and Agrochemistry.

      1949-1952 Director, Institute of Botany, Azerbaydzhan Academy of Sciences. 1952-1957 Academy Secretary, Azerbaydzhan Academy of Sciences. Studies Azerbaydzhan soils, use of trace elements as fertilizers, etc.
