      1931-1937 postgrad, student, Azerbaydzhan Polytechn. Institute; lecturer, Azerbaydzhan Industry Institute. 1937-1936 Chief, Geology Bureau, Transcaucasian Geology Trust, then Deputy Chief and Chief Engineering, Azerbaydzhan Geology Board.

      1939-^41 Chief, Azerbaydzhan Polytechn. Institute; 1941-1944 Director, Main Board of Training Establishments, USSR Popular Commissariat of Petroleum Industry, then Chief, Azerbaydzhan Geology Board. Simultaneously instructor, Moscow Petroleum Institute, Azerbaydzhan Industry Institute and Azerbaydzhan University.

      1944-1947 Head,Department of Higher Party Education Establishments and School, Central Committee, Communist Party Azerbaydzhan. 1947-1950 Chairman, Azerbaydzhan State Planning Committee, and Deputy Chairman, Azerbaydzhan Council of Ministers. 1950-1958 President, Azerbaydzhan Academy of Sciences.

      At 1956 and 1958 Congresses of Communist Party Azerbaydzhan, elected member of the Central Committee.
