Sergey BOEV, USSR Veterinarian. Full member, Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences, since 1954; Honoured Worker of Science of Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic since 1947; associate, Helminthological Laboratory, Institute of Zoology, Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences, since 1945.
BOEV, Sergey was born in 1905.
1932 graduated Saratov Zoological and Veterinary Institute.
1953-1954 Head, Helminthological Laboratory, 1954-1955 Deputy Director, Kazakhstan Veterinary Research Institute, AlmaAta. 1956-1957 Director, Veterinary Section, Kazakhstan Branch, All-Union Lenin Academy, of Agriculture Science. Research on helminthology, mainly veterinary helminthology.
Developed a method of prophylaxis of dictiocaulasis in sheep by prolonged unrestricted feeding of salt with a small admixture of the helminthicide phenothiazine.
