BUTOMO, Viktor was born in 1897.
1919 graduated Petrograd Military Medicine Academy, now Leningrad Kirov Military Medicine Academy.
Directed science and medical organ, work of USSR Navy gynecologists. Presidium member, Leningrad Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Member, Council of Obstetrical Aid and Forensic Medicine, Leningrad City Health Department.
Member, Editor Council, journal “Akusherstvo i ginekologiya” (Obstetrics and Gynecology). Author of over 70 works on: obstetrics and gynecology. Clinical and experimental principles of protein therapy in obstetrics and gynecology.
Nitrogen and phosphorus metabolism with parenteral injection of protein. Role of reticuloendothelial system. Significance of sex hormones in pregnancy in humans and animals.
Sterility; effects of malaria on pregnancy. Exchange between the mother’s body and the fetus. Painless birth; physiological processes of the sexual sphere in women living under Arctic conditions.
