Konstantin CHIBISOV, USSR Specialist in science photography. Professor; corresponding member, USSR Academy of Science, since 1946; Professor, All-Union Research Institute, since 1930; Professor, Moscow University, since 1950; Honoured Worker of Science and Technology Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic since 1945. Stalin Prize, 1950; Order of Lenin; Order of Red Banner of Labor; other orders; medals.

    • 1930 helped organize All-Union Cinematography Research Institute. Since 1948 Chairman, Commission for Science Photography and Cinematography, USSR Academy of Science. Works deal with photographic sensitometry, theory of photographic emulsion synthesis and nature of photographic sensitivity.

      1918-1930 at Air Force Research and Testing Institute of Aerial Photography. Simultaneously taught at higher education institutions.
