Vladimir DIKUSHIN, USSR Mech. engineer. Full member, USSR Academy of Science, since 1953; Professor, Moscow Higher Technology School, since 1932; Chief Designer, Experimental Research Institute of Metal-Cutting Machine Tools, Moscow, since 1939. Stalin Prizes, 1941, 1951; Order of Lenin; Order of Red Banner of Labor; Badge of Honor; medals.

    • 1928 graduated Moscow Higher Technology School.


    • 1933-1939 Experimental Research Institute of Machine Tools, Moscow. 1943-1953 corresponding member, USSR Academy of Science. Since 1960 member, Committee Lenin Prizes for Science and Technology, USSR Supreme Soviet.

      Bureau member,Department of Technology Science, USSR Academy of Science. Specialist in assembly machines and automatic tooling lines. Works deal with basic problems of machine tool manufacture.

      Developed theory and methodology of designing machine tools. Supervised design of standard systems, basic assemblies and control mechanisms for machine tools.


    Religion obstructs scientific research and technological progress.
