  • Career

    • 1930 began stage career as lyric soprano at Kanibadam. 1930-1948 at Tadzhikistan Theater of Opera and Ballet, Stalinabad. Operatic roles: Gulzor in Balasanyan’s “Vosstanie Vose” (The Vose Rebellion).

      Zukhra in Lensky’s “Takhir and Zukhra”. Tatyana in Tchaikovsky’s “Eugene Onegin”, etc. Dramatic roles: Gulnor in Ayni’s “Dokhunda”.

      Guli in Uygun and Sultanov’s “Alisher Navoi”. Goneril in Shakespeare's “King Lear”, etc. Also famed as a singer of Tadzhikistan folk songs.
