Viktor Frantsevich GAYDUKEVICH
Viktor GAYDUKEVICH, USSR Archeologist. Expert on the hist, and ancient archeology of the Northern Black Sea area; Doctor of History Science; Professor, Leningrad University.
GAYDUKEVICH, Viktor was born in 1904.
Since 1932 in charge of Bosphorus archeological expedition to study the towns and minor settlements of the Bosphorus Empire. Excavated and studied the towns of Tiritaka, Mirmeky and Uurat. 1942-1943, while in charge of excavations at Farkhad hydropower project, unearthed specimens of ancient Uzbek culture.
