Nina GONCHARENKO, USSR Singer (mezzo-soprano). Popular Artist of Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic since 1954; soloist, Shevchenko Academy Theater of Opera and Ballet, Kiev since 1944. Member, Communist Party, since 1953.

      Lyubasha in Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Tsarskaya nevesta” (The Tsar’s Bride). Carmen in Bizet’s “Carmen”. Amneris in Verdi’s “Aida”.
