Background

  • KERASHEV, Tembot was born in 1902 in village Koshekhabl, now Adyge Autonomous Oblast, Northern Caucasus.

  • Education

    • 1932 graduated Moscow Institute of Finance and Economics.

    Career

    • Participated in folklore expeditions in Adyge Autonomous Oblast and systematized and edited material collected by the latter. Voting delegation at 1956 Communist Party of the Soviet Union Congress. 1932-1936 instructor in Circassian language and literature at Kuban Pedagogical Institute, Krasnodar.

      Later at Adyge Pedagogical Technicum. Associate, Adyge Research Institute of Language, Literature and History, Krasnodar, now Maykop.

    Member, Communist Party, since 1928.
