1925 founded Research Laboratory for Labor Hygiene, Georgia Popular Commissariat of Labor, luter reorganized into the Kirov Research Institute of Labor Protection, AllUnion Central Trade-Union Council, with branches in Baku and Yerevan. First to study labor hygiene conditions of workers in Georgia metallurgical, silk-winding, tobacco and tea enterprises. Founded laboratories at Research Institute of Sanitation and Hygiene, Georgia Ministry of Health.
Board member, Society of Hygienists. Since 1956 Bureau member, Medicine Section, Tbilisi Society for the Dissemination of Political and Science Knowledge. Works deal with hygiene, large families and demographic indices of Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic.
Author of about 75 works, including manual on society hygiene and 2 handbooks on general hygiene in Georgian. Awnrds: Order of Lenin, 1954. 1914-1917 military physician in Russia Army.
