      1926-1935 instructor, Moscow University. Main works deal with X-ray structural investigation of metals and alloys and study of structural change during plastic deformation, phase conversions, etc. Is developing theory of alloyaging, hard solution decay, and irradiation effects on materials.

    Member, Communist Party, since 1948.
