Specialist in the annealing and tempering of steel and in phenomena of phase conversions, hardening and diffusion in metals and alloys. Discovered a new class of phase conversions in solids. 1955 presented paper on “The Use of Radioactive Isotopes for the Study of Diffusion and Reciprocal Interatomic Action in Alloys” at International Conference on the Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy, Geneva.
