    1956-1958 counselor, USSR Embassy in Sweden. 1958-1959 Head, 3rd European Department (Austria, Germany), USSR Minister of Foreign Affairs. 1959-1962 Head,Department of Scandinavian Countries, USSR Minister of Foreign Affairs.

    In his capacity as Head,Department of Scandinavian Countries, accompanied: 1959 Khrushchev to United States of America and Mikoyan to Finland. 1960 Mikoyan to Norway and Khrushchev to Finland. 1961 Furtseva to Iceland.
