Yuozas MATULIS, USSR Chemist. Full member since 1941, and President since 1946, Lithuania Academy of Sciences; corresponding member, USSR Academy of Science, since 1946; Deputy Chairman, Presidium, Lithuania Supreme Soviet, since 1959; Honoured Worker of Science of Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic since 1945; member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party Lithuania Lithuania, since 1954. Order of Lenin; two other orders; medals.
