    • 1950-1953 corresponding member, USSR Academy of Medical Science. 1957 visited medical exhibition in Glasgow. 1957-1960 Academy Secretary,Department of Medicine and Biological Science, USSR Academy of Medical Science.

      Editor, “Chemistry” section, “Bolshaya meditsinskaya entsiklopediya” (Large Medical Encyclopedia), 2nd edition. Member, Editor Board, journal “Voprosy meditsinskoy khimii” (Problems of Medical Chemistry) and other publications. Main works deal with: biochemistry of protein.

      Protein metabolism of animals. Protein enzyme changes in regenerative and embryo tissues. Theory of tumor growth and the susceptibility of the body to tumors, etc.

      1931-1935 Assistant, then lecturer,Sverdlov Communist University, Moscow. 1936-1941 associate and 1941-1949 Laboratory Head, All-Union Institute of Experimental Medicine, now the Institute of Biological and Medicine Chemistry, USSR Academy of Medical Science.

    Member, Communist Party, since 1939.
