Vladimir PRIVEZENTSEV, USSR Electronic engineer. Doctor of Technology Science since 1952; Professor, Moscow Power Engineering Institute, since 1946; Department Head, Research Institute of Cable Industry, since 1949.
PRIVEZENTSEV, Vladimir was born in 1900 in village Kolodkino, now Moscow Oblast.
1924 graduated Moscow Higher Technology School. Later graduated Industry Economics Institute and completed Higher Pedagogical Courses at Moscow Higher Technology School. 1938 defended candidate’s thesis.
1923-1941 engineer, 1941-1945 Chief Engineering, “Moskva-kabel” (Moscow Cable) Plant. 1945-1949 Chief Engineering, Central Cable Laboratory, Minister of Electronic Industry, and Deputy Director for scientific work, Research Institute of Cable Industry. For 15 years edited science and technican journal on cable engineer.
Was continuously Head, Cable Section, Science and Technology Council, Minister of Electrotechn. Industry; for more than 15 years was Presidium member, All-Union Bureau of Electronic Insulation. Took active part in work of Commission for Dielectrics and Terminology, USSR Academy of Science.
