Directed many expeditions to combat malaria and brucellosis, especially in Northern Caucasus. 1934 founded Chair of Propedeutics of Internal Diseases, Chair of Faculty Therapy Clinic and Chair of Infectious Diseases at Dagestan Medicine Institute, Makhachkala. 1948-1953 corresponding member, USSR Academy of Medical Science.
